I'd like to thank all the visitors for coming to this site. My main goal is to analyze ways that John McCain can run effectively against Barack Obama -- and ultimately win the election on November 4, 2008. I'm interested in the race in all states, but especially in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey.

I hope you return frequently.
If you read my previous columns, you'll see that I strong recommend that John McCain not continue to allow Barack Obama to make false statements -- about McCain's positions, about the War in Iraq, and about the economy.
On the economy, Obama has said the following: 'We are seeing an economy that is not working for the American people." Frankly, the economy seems to working just fine for multi-millionaires Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama (who lives in a $2 million house).
Economist Walter Williams recently wrote a piece in Townhall about "The Poverty Hype," and I urge you to read it. The following is my reaction to Williams' essay:
I read recently (through the Tax Foundation) that the top 1% of wage-earners (key term) pay 29% of the federal income taxes. That is something you will NEVER hear from Barack Obama (or even Mrs. Clinton). In fact, one of the intriguing thing about the Clinton tax returns is that they showed the couple paid income taxes of $31 million-plus.
Admittedly, there are some super-wealthy individuals (Ross Perot being a famous one) who have most of their wealth in tax-free municipal bonds, but those bonds are how communities finance their infrastructures (roads, water and sewer systems) and the like.A man like Obama bases his entire campaign on the "myth" that the "wealthiest Americans" (like Clinton? like multi-millionaire Obama himself?) don't pay their fair shares in the running of the government.
Of course, that's not true, but it is a temptation that a demagogue like Obama can't resist. It feeds into our unlovable human tendency to "envy" others who are better off than us. It implies that we somehow have the "right" to other peoples' incomes, which in some circles is known (correctly) as theft.
The media should be challenging Obama on these points, but instead they have decided to function as cheerleaders rather than as honest brokers.
