Artermis March on "Creepy" Obama

Hi Friends: This blog is only periodically active. However, I write nearly every day on two other blogs: http://stevemaloneygop.blogspot.com and http://draftpalin2012.blogspot.com. I hope you'll visit both. The material below was sent out today to my e-mail list, and it mentions both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. Again, thanks to those of you who keep coming back here.

Artemis March is a excellent writer with great insight into the "Obama Phenomenon." She's been a staunch defender of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, although I admit her defense of the latter sounds much more plausible to me than her defense of the former. That aside, her pieces on the campaign and post-election period (in places like NoQuarter and The New Agenda) are very worth reading. She truly understands Obama's appeal -- and it scares her to death. She's worth googling. Her insights also contain the core of a strategy for defeating Obama in 2012 when, yes my friends, he will be running for re-election. :"The dog ate my birth certificate."

"Those caught up in his [Obama's] rhetoric feel like they are part of the "we," and that they are going to be part of something big and wonderful together. Others of us get an unsettling sense that even when he says "we," it's all about him, quite singular. We don't sense individuals in a crowd relating to him (as we do, for example, when Hillary Clinton speaks), but a fused entity lost in him. He is not offering to serve them or fight on their behalf. He is proclaiming that they can become part of him. Many of us get an eerie chill because this is the kind of messianic promise made by cult leaders, not politicians.

She says:"And that's just the beginning of the diametrically opposed reactions to Obama that have deeply divided feminists, progressives, and Democrats, and pitted friends, family members, co-workers, neighbors, networks, interest group members and officials, former political allies, as well as demographic groups against one another. One of the things that keeps us so divided is that his devotees and even many of his converts seem to know so little about him yet consistently reject information that does not fit with their trusting view of him. Many pour out unprecedented-for "progressives"-nastiness, misinformation, and hatred to demean Hillary Clinton and then Sarah Palin, and to intimidate and even threaten those who don't agree with them. Their bullying has dominated campuses, caucuses, and the convention as well as the blogosphere and media. "Truth squads" aim to silence anything but unqualified admiration. "

Palin: Defeating Obama in 2012

I love this particular blog. It was my first, and it was the one where I broke the news, very early on Aug. 20, 2008, that Sarah Heath Palin would be John McCain's choice for the V-P nomination. (Read below.)

Is this the woman that will derail Obama's effort to be a two-term President? One hopes so.

I'll be writing tomorrow and this weekend about why Obama's toadies in the media dislike Sarah Palin. The only one who seem to like her -- in addition to me and my readers -- are the American people.

African-American: "Palin is Feminist"

Two remarkable women, Gov. Sarah Palin and Tanya Crews, author of the following piece and head of the Northeast PA section of The Coalition for a Conservative Majority

This past Tuesday, Sarah Palin made the most explicitly feminist political speech by ANYONE running for national office in the last 20 years. She said,"Women of my generation were allowed finally to make more of our own choices with education, with career, and I have never forgotten that we owe that opportunity to women, to feminists who came before us."

Palin added. "The belief in equal opportunity is not just the cause of feminists, it's the creed of our country — equal opportunity."

Many people are trying to marginalize this lady, and discredit her accomplishments. She has worked harder than Obama & Biden combined. She has more executive experience, as well as a a marked record of achievement and increased responsibility.

When was the last time you heard a MAN having a ethics violation for having his staff or security detail [suspend] women for him? When was the last time you heard about how much a man spent on his apparel?

Why don't we talk about the abuse of power and the subversive tactic to rid us of our Free Speech...and One person One Vote? Or are we to accept the thug politics and stomp all over the Constitution?

And what happened to that press complaint "We don't have access?" She is the MOST accessible candidate.

Electing Obama will set the progress of African Americans back 20 years. Women further. Remember when they first implemented affirmative action, and unqualified people were getting hired?This past week, I sat on a panel for [Anderson Cooper's] AC360. I thought my positions and arguments were valid and open for debate.

The attacks I have received, had NOTHING to do with what I said, -- But how I looked, or suggested that I was a slave of some sort...HUH? What? Let's talk about the issues.

One thing that needs to resonate among women is that in 2008 with 52% [of the vote], women decide. I ask each of you reach into your soul and open yous mind. There are 16.5% women who are still undecided, so help them decide McCain-Palin.

The "Iron Jawed Angels" of the past ask no less.

Building Organizationally to Win Elections

The woman who will play a major part in America's Future

'We must either organize effectively or we will fade away into irrelevancy and our country will become unrecognizable."

Dear Friends: As a "coalition of the willing," we will never win anything merely by having good intentions. We need to be big and focused. We will also need people -- our allies -- working full-time to attract members and the money needed to operate effectively.

We're facing groups like Moveon.org that are very, very good at one thing: raising money to spend on political causes. If they have money and we -- their opponents -- don't, then guess who wins? So, what we're going to face over the next year is the need "to raise money in order to raise money."

I'm hoping that in the next 12-18 months we -- our coalition -- can raise a million dollars, most of it used for organization/training/motivation of activists in all 435 congressional districts. My hope is that we could end up with at least 15 activists in every congressional district -- and perhaps 150-200 in some districts.

My hope is that over the next year we can attract 10,000 people who will contribute to groups promoting a "country first" agenda. Perhaps the goal might be to seek an average contribution of $100.

What would people get for their $100 (not exactly a huge sum)? They would get, first, an opportunity to start winning as early as 2010 -- and close to a certainty of winning in 2012. If we don't move forward aggressively, then we will win neither in 2010 or 2012. That's the selling point.

A pressing need right now is for venues (web sites) where we can start signing up people to participate -- and contribute -- for Victory 2010 and Victory 2012. We need to start identifying areas where we're strong (among military personnel and seniors, for example) and then using strength to get stronger. If we're getting 70% of the active military vote, we need to get those supporters to find other backers (e.g., active duty and veterans reaching out to friends and family members).

We need to keep teaching/training people how to build their circles of influence. Small groups absolutely must become bigger groups. Where groups don't have "auxiliaries," they need to create them. In the beginning phases, we need to raise money in any way we can -- through face-to-face with potential (big) donors, through direct appeals to Internet and other contacts, and through advertising. There's nothing wrong with telling members and other participants that are doing everything possible to raise money -- and that we want them to help us do so.

We will be doing so to help our side win -- period. People who are active full-time in building a winning coalition should get paid modest sums -- that is, enough to survive. I know people, such as Frank of "Democrats for McCain," who have quit their jobs in order to campaign full-time for McCain-Palin. Such individuals need more than just our admiration, as they can't survive on good works alone.

We need to begin building memberships in our organization -- I wish we'd call it something like "Country First" -- as rapidly as possible. After the election, we don't want people to do the usual: head off in ten million directions. Some organizations will have to change their names (e.g., "Clintons4McCain") and focus, but they should not just go-out-of-business.

There will be millions of individuals, such as moderate Democrats, who will be searching for a "political home." We need to convince them that we are that home.I'm sending this to various people who recognize the need to organize more effectively in their states -- and, especially, in their congressional districts. I'm not keeping these goals secret, because there's really no need to.

Some of the people who receive this will want to participate and some won't. I hope people will send their own views on how best to proceed. Our coalition needs input from many people.Overall, we cannot "define" ourselves in such a way that we establish the world's most cohesive (permanent) political minority.

Again, we don't need agreement on 100% of the issues. Instead, we will be a relatively diverse group held together by a belief that country -- America -- must come first.

I've been asking people to join ALL organizations that are committed to "country first." They include: http://wam08.com ; http://modernconservative.com ; http://dncreform.com ; and, http://clintons4mccain.com .

We aren't at a point where we can quibble over tactics or minor differences in political philosophy. We've got to get away from the view that we can somehow win politically by associating only with people exactly like us.

Overall, we should identify all demographics where we are strong -- and then build outwards.

Sarah Palin, the brightest hope not just for America but for the Western World

I sent the following to 1,000-plus of my closest friends:

Dear Friends: I salute all of you who are involved in the Ground Game to ensure the election of John McCain and Sarah Palin. We need to reach out to friends, family, neighbors, and, yes, perfect strangers, to win on November 4.

The closeness of this election has been, at times, emotionally draining. But all of us have made many new friends and allies, some of them coming from unexpected backgrounds and political views. We need to ensure that never again does the U.S. have a presidential candidate like Barack H. Obama: inexperienced, unqualified, untrustworthy, and careless about protecting our country.

We in fact are going to take back this country. The goal of outstanding people like Chris Cook (http://modernconservative.com/), Jacquerie (http://wam98.com/), and Karen Hill (http://dncreform.com/) is to build organizations that will in combination be much bigger and stronger than the extremists' Moveon.org.

I urge all of you to join these groups now..We need to hang together and not demand total agreement on every issue, but rather aim for mutual understanding and unity on shared goals. There will be a lot more about this right after the election.

In her debate with the Washington Windbag Biden, Sarah Palin talked about an America chracterized by "liberty, tolerance/respect, and opportunity." That's a real good starting point.

I sent my young friend, Rhandi, from Corpus Christi, Texas, copies of the pictures above of U.S. soldiers reenlisting en masse in Baghdad. She replied with a heartfelt letter about her experience as a young army wife. It touched me greatly, and I hope it will also touch you.

You have me in tears. I don't know how I missed this, but thank you so much for the nice little "shout out." My husband has served nearly 8 long years in the military (including 2 deployments - 1 being a consecutive 2 together, and the later being the whole first year of our marriage). He, too, reenlisted in Baghdad. He will be in for as long as he can - only 12 years until retirement is an option, which at that time he will be 39 years young.

It's amazing when I think about the things I've sacrificed simply to be with him (leaving my comfort zone, families, and friends, attending a new school, and trying to start and continue life in a whole nother state, a whole nother atmosphere), but even more amazing still is the dedication and sacrifices I've seen him and other men and women like him, including friends, make for the better of our whole society.

My best friend from Portland, TX is marrying a marine in December, who is also thinking about reenlisting for the sole purpose of believing in what we're doing and what our country stands for. He planned on going in for four years and getting the heck out, but now that it's come down to it - he is pretty close to staying in for at least 1 more enlistment.

This man has a college degree and is one of the most educated, intelligent young men I know. I wouldn't want men and women of any less of caliber as he and my husband out there fighting for us. Just goes to show that pretty much every stereotype I've ever heard, and may have repeated, about our men and women in uniform is extremely wrong. :)

In the household I live in (and run :wink:), we support McCain. In the household I came from, they support McCain. In the households I've visited in my recent trip to Texas, we support McCain. I hung out with a BIG, BIG group of young adults (ages 20 to 24) and we were amazed by the fact that we could all agree on the same presidential candidate. Yes, politics did not get ugly between our group, and it seemed to only strengthen our beliefs, knowledge and united front regarding the future president of our country.

I've never seen so many young people get involved and feel this strongly, but going back to Texas made me proud to be where I was from, and even prouder to be apart of the friendships and relationships I have there, and with other fellow political followers.

When that big a group of young adults can get together and continue to have a good time speaking about political elections and candidates without all hell breaking loose and a big confrontation, you've got to know that something good is going on, and something great could be happening.I'm with you 1000% Steve. As is my husband, best friend and her fiance, who is currently deployed, plus the many, many others that I know - soldiers and civilians alike.

Thank you for sending out this email and including my family and I in it. Eric's been home since June and I'm still in tears when it comes to these types of things.

Hi Tatiana: Sarah Palin is very ready to be Presdient of the U.S. She has more executive experience, as a Governor, than ALL the other candidates combined (McCain, Obama, and Biden). She has a well-earned reputation for being willing to go against her own Party (Republican) when it is in the wrong. McCain has done the same, but neither Obama nor Biden has ever gone against the wishes of their Party. Coming from a state that's very rich in natural resources, Sarah Palin is an expert on energy (particularly oil and natural gas) and the environment, subjects that seem to mystify Biden and Obama. Rather than just chattering about the middle class, as her opponents do, she IS a member of the middle class. As a mother -- and the mother of a soldier -- she has experience managing a household and raising children that is foreign to most male politicians. She is a leader and a pillar of integrity, both of which are essential in a President.

She will make a great one.

JOE BIDEN: OBAMA’S MR. WRONG, GIVES A WINDY SPEECH AT DEM CONVENTION


In noted windbag Joe Biden’s speech at the Democratic National Convention, the only crystal-clear truth he uttered came in the first sentence: “I've never been called a man of few words.” [1]

Joe’s speech has as a leitmotif the words “John McCain was wrong. And Barack Obama was right.” In many cases, he forgot to add that, if McCain was wrong, Biden was also wrong. In most cases, he was just wrong on his own.

For example, wasn’t it Obama that labeled Hillary Clinton a warmonger for voting in October, 2002, for the authorization of the use of force in Iraq? Joe Biden forgot to mention – as Obama has – that Biden also voted for the authorization.

Earlier, he had said that the U.S. “has no choice but to eliminate” Saddam Hussein. We didn’t hear that point made in the speech – of course. [2]

In the remarks, Biden praised Obama for being willing to “talk” to various despots and rogue leaders. However, he sang a very different tune in the primaries.

Then, Biden said about Obama’s “talkathon politics,” the following: “Would I make a blanket commitment to meet with the leaders [noted by BHO] in the first year after I was elected President? “Absolutely, positively no!” [3]

Of course, since Obama has no experience, Biden talked about the Obama’s supposed “judgment.” In fact, judgment doesn’t appear the strong suit of man who befriended not only crackpot preachers, but also various terrorists, Communists, and gangsters.

Biden put it this way: “Now, let me ask you: whose judgment should we trust? Should we trust John McCain's judgment when he said only three years ago, ‘Afghanistan we don't read about it anymore because it's succeeded?’”

Those whose memory extends three years or more might remember that, yes, we didn’t read – or see – much about Afghanistan. The reason: because at that point, as McCain noted, we had succeeded. Most of the Taliban had been killed, captured, or sent on the dead run to the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Biden apparently confused 2008 with 2005, in which year McCain was dead right about the Afghan situation.

Biden’s speech also “forgot to mention” The Iraq Surge,” which John McCain has long supported. Of course, Barack Obama doesn’t talk about the Surge except in ways that suggest he doesn’t have eyes to see – and ears to hear.

Who was right on the surge? John McCain. And who was wrong? Barack Obama was. And, lest we forget, so was Joe Biden – terribly wrong.

Biden said in 2006, “We’ve tried the military surge option before, and it failed. If we try it again, it will fail again.” Gee, Joe, who was wrong – and who was right? [4]

Biden also opposed the multilateral negotiations the Bush Administration pursued with North Korea. He called for bilateral negotiations. Of course, as much as any negotiations can work with the North Koreans, the multilateral approach worked. [5]
Perhaps that’s why North Korea was absent from the speech.

The Obama Campaign presented Joe Biden as an “expert” on foreign policy and national security. As I’ve demonstrated, he’s neither. He’s a longwinded gentleman who’s been wrong on nearly every major issue in his lifetime – he even voted against the first Gulf War resolution back in the previous century.

Joe Biden talks a great deal and says very little. John McCain apparently has decided to treat Biden as a pompous irrelevancy.

For reasons unknown, Barack Obama apparently saw Biden as Mr.-Right. Actually, Joe is turning out to “Mr. Wrong,” someone wildly off-base on all the things that matter.

How McCain Wins the Election

This message will go out to 1,000 bloggers and other onliners tomorrow. It's about how we are going to win this election for John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Tracy (a political ally), Tracy, I'm going to distribute your site (http://talkstraight.org) widely tomorrow. I think we need to emphasize more and more practical steps (phone calls, contributing money, going door-to-door), the ground game, needed to win the election.

There are several issues that will continue to be "big," including William Ayers, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and Obama's ties to the people (Franklin Raines, Jim Johnson, Goldman Sachs executives, etc.) that caused the financial crisis. (Also, we need to continue branding Obama as vaguely alien, un-American.)

In PA and Ohio, Biden's anti-clean-coal remarks will be significant. I'm finding a lot of practical benefits in going into the Beaver GOP office, making some calls (not a lot), and urging people who come in -- many -- to volunteer their time. To win the election, Obama MUST carry Pennsylvania, and it increasingly looks like he will not be able to do so.

We've got to emphasize the McCain Online Phone Bank (http://www.johnmccain.com/PhoneBank/NoPhoneBank.aspxand) and actually get people to use it.

The key is not to overwhelm people -- and to give them simple instructions on what to do . . . and say. I'm emphasizing McCain's "creative and dynamic leadership" in choosing a qualified woman -- a fellow maverick -- as his running mate. For most voters, that will be enough.

It's a big task. We need a million people to make an average of 25 phone calls each -- and then for them to make another 25 in the last 10 days of the election. If we do that, we will win.

We really need to get simpler and simpler as the campaign proceeds. People like Paul, who has great material on the ground game, Kathy Morrison, and Wendy are going to play more and more important roles. We also need to energize people in New Jersey (and perhaps even NY) to win those states.

This is a rather sobering message for bloggers, who like to debate sexy "issues," many of which are of little interest to the public. The election is now about character, who has it (John and Sarah) and who doesn't (Barack and Joe).

Biden Bye-Bye, Hillary Hello?

In his piece linked below, Pittsburgh columnist Jack Kelly cites me (correctly) as one of the sources on the movement to dump Joe Biden and replace him with Hillary Clinton. I stand by the story, although it becomes more difficult for Obama to act as the story gains greater publicity. n what now seems the long ago days between the time Sen. John McCain chose Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate and her acceptance speech, there was considerable speculation in the news media that Mr. McCain would drop her from the ticket.

This was entirely a media invention. There was no sentiment among Republicans for replacing Mrs. Palin, and Mr. McCain - whose loyalty to his friends nearly cost him his life in Vietnam - is not the kind of person who would desert his choice.

And there was a very practical reason why this option never was considered. Sen. George McGovern was going to lose in 1972 no matter what, but the final nail in his coffin was when he dumped running-mate Sen. Thomas Eagleton after it was revealed Mr. Eagleton had had shock treatments for an unspecified mental illness. With one stroke, Mr. McGovern called into question both his judgment and his loyalty.

There has, of course, been no further speculation about dropping Sarah Palin from the ticket after her boffo performance in St. Paul, Minn. But my friend Steve Maloney (who first got me interested in Sarah Palin) says his sources in the Democratic Party tell him Barack Obama is being pressured to dump Sen. Joseph Biden from the ticket and replace him with Hillary Clinton, the switch to come just after the vice presidential debate Oct. 2.

Speculation about such a switch has emerged on several left-wing blogs.“It’s time to dump Biden and replace him with Sen. Hillary Clinton,” said Andy Ostroy on the Huffington Post Monday. “I’m starting to think that if Team Obama doesn’t do something dramatic fast, it’s gonna lose this election.”

Recently, in an interview with CNBC's Maria Bartiromo, Bill Cliton gave his initial opinion of Sarah Palin. And it's glowing.

Thus, according to Bill Clinton, Sarah has a record of placing the needs of the electorate above her personal beliefs. Someone I can trust to put the needs of our country above the needs of her party. A refreshingly accurate portrayal for a change.

And her abilities as a leader? Bill is impressed.

He says, "But I get why she’s done so well. It’s a mistake to underestimate her. Her intuitive skills are significant."

Hillary Clinton Replacing Joe Biden?

HILLARY CLINTON TO REPLACE JOE BIDEN?

I've been the main voice on the Internet discussing the story that Hillary Clinton -- early in October, it appears -- would replace Joe Biden on the Democratic ticket. I stand by this revelation because I believe it's true. The Houston Post-Chronicle recently printed a story suggesting such a "V-P Switcheroo" could be coming.

Remember that famous Friday a.m. (look back a couple of weeks) when I said at 2 a.m. that Sen. McCain would name Gov. Sarah Palin as his V-P? Many people, including some good friends, said I "must be mistaken." It must be Mitt Romney or Tim Pawlenty, right?

At 11 a.m. on Friday when it was clear the not-so-gentle lady from Alaska, Sarah, would get the nod, many members of the media were angry. Why hadn't anyone told them? Well, I told them. My view of the MSM is that it consists mostly of incompetents who couldn't break an egg let alone a real story.

One development you've been hearing little if anything about is the effect Sarah Palin's tremendous popularity is having on congressional races. Because of America's love affair with Sarah, many Obama Democrats are now afraid they will lose their seats. That has added to the desperation in the ranks of the Party's far-left wing.

Many of the members of Congress most worried are those who truly need their "job" and have been on the federal dole for many decades. Outside the comfy halls of Congress, many of these low-talent people would essentially be unemployable.

Thus, they despise Sarah Palin because she threatens their livelihoods. So, look for a growing number of calls for Obama to: (1) "get tougher" -- to sling more mud and be more negative than he already is; (2) get rid of Biden and replace him with Senator Clinton (or perhaps even someone else).

I hope all the thousands of bloggers and other onliners who are supporting McCain-Palin will highlight the "Hillary" story. That's exactly what Obama, Axelrod, Brazille, and Dean don't want you to do. Continued discussion will shed light on developments the Obama Campaign would rather spring on Americans at the last moment. Note: If you start hearing more stories, as we did last week, of Senator Biden's "health issues" (in actuality, he really doesn't have any), you will know the time is drawing nigh for Joe to exit Left.

My predictions for the Oct. 2 V-P debate (if Joe makes it that far)? Sarah will mop the floor with him. His antics and windbag nature will turn off a huge number of women voters. Sarah will continue to look more "presidential" than either Obama or Biden.

In the 1972 presidential election, George McGovern named as his V-P pick Senator Thomas Eagleton (a fine man, by the way). Then, it came out that Eagleton had once undergone electro-shock treatments for depression. Calls came in from Party leaders to get Eagleton off the ticket.

Senator McGovern famously said he was behind Eagleton "100% -- no, 1,000 percent." The next day McGovern dumped Eagleton, replacing him with Sargent Shriver (JFK's brother-in-law). In November, 1972, McGovern lost 49 states.

WHO STOLE TRIG PALIN'S PACIFIER?

The following piece is about the Obama's Campaign never-ending attempt to dig up dirt in order to destroy Gov. Sarah Heath Palin. Since the attacks come exclusively from the Democratic Party, those who participate in any way in that Party's activities are in fact enablers of evil. The following is humorous -- in a rueful way. It has gone viral, and I appreciate the many positive comments I've received.

Led by the "Chosen One," the Obama Campaign tends to get WAY off message, with long clouds of hot air being used to answer questions no one has asked. But it will get better at that. The ads and the smears will grow increasingly hateful -- and bizarre.

The attack message now is that Gov. Palin is a (shudder) Christian. Imagine that! What an outrage to the well -healed liberal ladies of the Upper West Side and the desiccated secularists of "The View." The New York Times will do a carefully crafted editorial on how any candidate who not an agnostic or athiest is truly fit to serve. MSNBC will launch an expose on something-or-other.

In general, the Democratic Party is anti-Christian and anti-women. People like Obama and Biden list their "religious affiliation" with about as much conviction as the note their membership in the Kiwanis Club. I wish that were not true, because one would hope both Parties were responsible and committed enough to run the country.

The campaign to destroy Gov. Palin is going to fail. It is as pathetic as it is malicious and mendacious.

We will hear endless charges that when she was 7 years-old Sarah took an extra cupcake at school. Presumably, some mentally disturbed person at her OLD church will make bizarre theological statements that will then be attributed (absurdly) to the Governor.

We will hear that Bristol Palin was not well-liked by three girls in junior high. I wish I were exaggerating, but I fear that I'm not. We'll certainly hear unfriendly comments from some of the political crooks she helped put in jail. Piper Palin will be questioned intensely on how many Black friends she has.

We will learn some truly shocking news: that Sarah once borrowed a cup of sugar -- and did not return it. A psychologist associated with "Entertainment Tonight" will analyze the underlying significance of the sugar theft. Theologians from the University of Chicago will be consulted to determine exactly which commandment Sarah broke.

Sarah's trash will be thoroughly examined. It will reveal a rich lode of evidence: coffee grounds, used bread wrappers, and an extremely provocative empty bottle of olive oil -- Extra Virgin! Does that bottle contain hidden significance? Is it a veiled plea for chastity before marriage. Is it a hidden rebuke to Bristol?

There are now more lawyers (all from Chicago apparently) and media dirt hunters in Wasilla than there are permanent residents. The National Enquirer has a half-dozen people there (the entire Chicago bureau?), presumably looking for evildoing related in some arcane way to John Edwards mistress, Rielle Hunter, and Todd Palin.

Trust, me, Sarah's boyfriend when she was age 15 will receive constant media attention. Someone may find a copy of her secret diary composed during the ages 11 to 13! It will be examined closely for links to her current political philosophy.

Attempts will be made to steal Trig's pacifier. If the heist is successful, look for it on eBay -- opening bid at $10,000. Then, look for the Palins to buy a new one for $1.98 -- "film at 11."

A reference or photo in (Bristol-fiance) "Levi's" MySpace will receive eight hours analysis by Matthews and Olberman. Track Palin will be accused of cross-checking a rival in a hockey 2004 match. Todd Palin's snow-machine racer will be subjected to forensic analysis.

So, how do we win this election? If everyone who now favors McCain-Palin will recruit one new supporter -- or shore up one who's wavering, we will indeed prevail.

And, by the way, whatever happened to the "lovely" Michelle Obama? Did he ("the Chosen One") dump her without our knowledge? Perhaps she's relocated to friendlier climes, such as Kenya? Was Barack seen -- or was he not -- in the company of Rielle Hunter.

Actually, I believe she's under the same bus where Barack tossed grandma. And where oh where is Rev. Jeremiah Wright when we most need him?

Obama Ridicules Palin, Lipstick, Hunters

Sarah, the woman the liberal Democrats are desperately trying to dig up dirt on in order to destroy. They will fail. They are despicable.

[Former Massachusetts Governor] Jane Swift went quickly to work lat evening as a leader of a brand new "truth squad" defending GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, excoriating Barack Obama for a comment he made while campaigning in Virginia today.Obama told voters that they shouldn't believe McCain and Palin's talk about reforming Washington. "You can put lipstick on a pig," Obama said. "It's still a pig."

Republicans took offense, saying that was a personal attack on Palin, who during the GOP convention speech last week, asked delegates if they knew the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull. Pointing to her mouth, she exclaimed, "Lipstick."

Swift told reporters on a conference call that Obama's comment was "disgraceful" and that "he owes Governor Palin an apology." Challenged about how she could be sure that Obama was referring to Palin, Swift replied, "She's the only one of the four presidential or vice presidential candidates who wears lipstick."

The former Massachusetts governor said it's only the latest in a series of offensive comments from Obama and his supporters. She said that after going up against Hillary Clinton in the primaries, Obama's campaign "would have figured out how to respectfully" debate a female candidate."This is just the same old low road,"

Swift said.Republicans also blasted Obama for describing Palin in Michigan on Monday as a "mother, governor, moose shooter."

The McCain campaign issued a statement today from Walter Morse, co-chairman of New Hampshire Sportsmen for McCain: "What Barack Obama dismisses as a 'moose shooter' we in New Hampshire call a 'sportsman' or a 'moose hunter.' Senator Obama has demonstrated once again that he doesn't understand rural America -- and after suggesting that many of us 'cling' to religion and guns, he also doesn't seem interested in learning.

"Although the sportsmen's community knows Barack Obama is no friend, this comment reinforces the critical need for hunters and anglers to mobilize behind our allies John McCain and Sarah Palin."

Sarah Palin's electrifying speech at the Republican Convention -- followed by John McCain's impassioned call to "Fight for what's right" -- had a tremendous effect on the nation. Hillary Supporters are flocking to McCain-Palin, and that may be something Obama's Mud Machine can't counteract.
